Let's face it. DSM is going nowhere.

We need to face facts. We are truly living in the land of the lost. Meaning that we lost in November and the land we now occupy should have a sign in front of saying,  Loserville population 150,000,000

It's kind of funny how We keep deluding ourselves that we still have some semblance of control left,  That we still believe we live in a democracy. That we still believe there is  justice and the rule of law. It's really kind of cute.

We knew how high the stakes were in November 2004. We knew how important it was to win that. We didn't. We lost. Game over.

No matter how right we may be, or how wrong they may be, they are the winners, and we are the losers.

Regarding the DSM, I'm tired of getting all excited, that once again that we may have finally pinned this down, only to be yawned at once again by the Press, the public and even by many of our staunchest Democratic allies.

I mean, here's proof that Our President lied to Congress, under oath of the office, lied to justify invading a sovereign Nation.

YAWN.

The only reason the American press is mentioning this at all is because of us. Because we are a small but vocal group who know how to use email.

The Truth is anything we do, or say, is marginalized by the fact that we are a bunch of Losers.
We not only lost the Presidency, we've lost the House, the Senate, the majority of Governorships, and just about any other form of public office you can think of, we've lost it.

To use a vulgar phrase, We are now the Republicans bitches. ( Please no pie's )

This is America. Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

We suck.

I have had to ask myself, regarding the DSM, that if this is such a hot story, then why no coverage on the Daily Show?

Last night, Clinton went on Letterman, who praise God, actually asked Clinton what he thought about the DSM, when Clinton basically filled in for Scott McLellan by saying, "Well, regardless of how we got there, we are there now and we should all want to win".

When Clinton said that Bush's mom has taken to calling him "Son", I just felt the wind suck out completely from behind our sail and I realized that the cold hard truth is that Clinton "gets it". Kos "gets it", Jon Stewart "gets it".

We can't win. Not now. We Suck.

We can poke fun, we can bitch and moan, we can stage some cute little protests, but they will never let us actually take any real action against this President. And it's because we are losers.
Underdogs. The Washington Generals.

If this were a game of Risk, we'd be alone in Kamchatka, surrounded by enemy troops, awaiting the inevitable gamewinning roll of the dice.

If we had any moxy, we'd at least flip the board over and run off in tears, but we don't. We're losers. We'll patiently sit here, taking it up the ass for 3.5 years until it's our turn again.

Then we'll fuck that all up and the cycle will begin again.

The only way we can win between now and the next election is if the Republicans beat themselves.
